Supporting Our Communities: Why LGBTQIA+ Pride Matters

At VI Fintech, we believe our local communities make us who we are. Supporting them, and championing diversity, equity and inclusion so that everyone within them can thrive, is at the core of what we do.

That’s why we’re launching a Community Outreach Program, starting off as sponsors of Loughborough Pride 2026 and expanding to encompass more events and local causes as time goes on. We want to invest in the people around us and their ability to thrive as their true, authentic selves - not for rainbow capitalism’s sake, but because we genuinely care.

Why this matters to us

Our financial software is designed primarily for credit unions and building societies; organisations built around communities and shared ownership, where everybody’s voice matters. Inclusivity and diversity are built into the foundation of what we do.

Beyond that, though, supporting local causes is important - especially grassroots events where our help can make a real, visible difference. Pride, and what it represents, matters. Spreading that message makes the world a better place, and we’re committed to doing so, both externally via sponsorships like these and internally among our team, clients and community partners.

Why Loughborough Pride?

Our team work fully remotely, but for many of us Loughborough and Charnwood are right on our doorstep. Loughborough Pride is local to us, entirely volunteer-run, and doesn’t have the bigger corporate sponsorships many metropolitan Pride events enjoy; it only makes sense to help out. With Loughborough Pride as the springboard for our Community Outreach Program, we can invest in the communities our team already live and work in and make a direct, meaningful difference to an important cause.
